賛成する、賛成である、支持する

＊agree　〜に賛成である、AAと意見が同じである。もっとも無難で汎用性が高い。
→My boss agreed with my opinion.
　上司は私の意見に賛成した。
→I agree on that one.
　それに関しては賛成だ。
→We both agree that we should adopt a dog.
　私たちはどちらも犬の里親になるのに賛成だ。

＊be (all) for AA　AAの意見・考え（案）を支持する、AAに賛成する。be all for AAで全面的に賛成するという意味に。
→My boss is for my plan.
　私の上司は私の案を支持してくれている。
→I’m all for that idea!
　私はその案に全面的に賛成だ！

＊support　意見・考えを支持する。
→I support his idea.
　私は彼の意見を支持する。

＊back AA up　AAを支持する、後ろ盾になる。AAには人物が入る。
→Can you back me up?
　私に加勢してくれない？
→I will back you up when you need me.
　あなたが私を必要としているときに助けるよ。

＊be in favor of AA　AAを好ましく思う、AAを支持する。ややかたい。
→They are in favor of the new mayor.
　彼らは新しい市長を支持している。
→The opposition party is not in favor of the bill.
　野党は法案を支持していない。
