→I want to be better than him.

誰にも劣らない

＊be second to none　誰にも、何にも劣らないということをかなり強調していうときに使う。
→Her dishes are second to none.
　彼女の料理は誰にも負けない。
→The train system in Japan is second to none.
　日本の電車のシステムはどこにも劣らない。

劣っている

＊be inferior to AA　AAより劣っているときに使う。
→I always feel inferior to him.
　私は彼より劣っているような気がする。
→Is this nutritionally inferior to the other option?
　これはもう一つの選択肢と比べて栄養価的に劣っているの？
