いる、ある

＊be …　～にいる。万能。主語によって形が変化する。
→Is she there?
　彼女はそこにいますか？
→I’m at the café.
　私はカフェにいるよ。

＊there is[are] …　AAがある。万能。
→There is no evidence.
　証拠がない。
→There are too many people here.
　ここには人がたくさんいすぎる。

位置する

＊be …　～に位置する。万能。
→There are many restaurants in the area．
　この辺にはレストランがたくさんある。
→The police station is in front of the park.
　交番は公園の前にある。

＊be located　～に位置している。beと比べるとややフォーマル。
→Our office is located in the heart of Tokyo.
　私たちのオフィスは東京の中心に位置している。
→Many of the apartments are located near the river.
　アパートの多くが川の近くに位置している。
