反対する

＊oppose … 反対する。意見や考え等に反対する時に使う。
→Lawmakers opposed the bill.
議員たちは法案に反対した。
→We oppose child labor.
私たちは児童労働に反対する。

反対である、意見が異なる

＊be against …　〜に反対する。思想や意見が対立しているときに使う。
→They’re against each other.
　彼らは対立している。
→Why are you against abortion?
　どうしてあなたは中絶反対なの？

＊be opposed to … 〜に反対している、対立している。対立しているニュアンスが強い。
→Lawmakers are opposed to the bill.
議員たちは法案に反対(対立)している。
→They are opposed to child labor.
彼らは児童労働に反対している。

＊disagree (with …) 〜に反対している。強く反対しているというより、異なる意見を持っているニュアンスが強い。
→I disagree with you.
私はあなたの意見とは異なる。

反射する

＊reflect … 反射する、映す。内省する、深く考えるという意味にもなる。
