責める
＊blame AA for BB BB（出来事）をAA（人物）のせいにする、BBしたとしてAAを責める。
→I can’t blame him for the accident.
事故を彼のせいにすることはできない。
→Why would you blame her?
どうして彼女を責めるの？
＊condemn AA for BB BB（出来事）したとしてAA（人物）を糾弾する。blameと比べて批判のニュアンスがかなり強い。
→The United States was condemned for A-bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
アメリカは、広島と長崎に原爆を落としたことで糾弾された。
BはAのせいだ
＊AA is to blame for BB よりかたい表現だが使う。
→Russia is to blame for this war.
この戦争はロシアのせいだ。
