（布団を）被る

＊pull…over　〜をかぶる、かぶせる。布団など、物理的なものをかぶせるときに使える。
→The kids pulled the cover over their heads.
子どもたちは布団を頭の上までかぶった。
→The doctor pulled a sheet over the body.
医者が遺体の上にシーツをかぶせた。

（帽子を）被る

＊wear … /put … on　〜をかぶる。帽子やマスクなど、表面につけるときに使う。
→You have to put your mask on. / You have to wear your mask.
マスクをつけなきゃ。
→I want to put my hat on. / I want to wear my hat.
帽子をつけたいの。

（ほこりを）被る

＊be covered with (dust)　ほこりをかぶっている。
→The lamp is covered with dust.
ランプがほこりをかぶっているよ。
→The entire room is covered with dust.
部屋がほこりだらけだ。

（罪、負債を）被る

＊be blamed for …　〜の責任を問われる、〜の責任をおしつけられる。何かをしたことで相手を責めるときに使う。
→They were blamed for their wrongdoings.
彼らは過ちを責められた。
→She blamed me for something I didn’t do.
彼女は私がやったことではないことを責めた。
